Our founding family has been based In Dublin for many generations and our story began by selling fine Irish jewellery on Henry Street, one of the city’s oldest shopping areas dating back to the 18th century.

We learned many years ago that international visitors to the store were often those with a link to Ireland who wanted to take a small piece of our heritage home with them, but despite the popularity of modern celtic jewelry in Ireland most of our international friends were unaware of the real meaning of the Claddagh ring and the true beauty of its origins. 

After seeing countless customer faces light up as we told them the tale, we realised that there was something important missing from the lives of millions of people around the world, a way to truly connect with Ireland and Irish ancestry even when you can’t be here. 

Today, we make it our mission to bring those people closer to home by offering something genuinely special. We choose to build that connection by creating Claddagh rings inspired by old and often lost silversmith designs. Designs that we believe should be brought back to life. We set out to offer Claddagh rings that could merge ancient and modern Ireland - we called it Claddaghree.

Each year we release just a small handful of limited edition designs. Giving our customers a chance to acquire something of unmatched quality, expression and craftsmanship, and once they're sold out, they're gone forever.

While we operate as an online business today, we’re still based just minutes from where it all began in Ireland’s capital city. Our rings are still inspected by hand and hallmarked at Dublin Castle, a rare tradition followed by all premium Irish jewellers since 1637. We still follow these steps not just to assure our customers of our quality, but to ensure that buying a ring from Claddaghree means getting a real piece of Ireland.
